Allocation of Places: Stage One (during January2026)
·         1 place allocated for the defending Champion.
·         10 Wildcard places to be allocated by agreement between the DFICA and the Organising Authority.
·         2 places for each country with a NCA or NCS registered with the DFICA
·         4 additional places for the Host Nation (South Africa) Allocation of Places: Stage 2 (during March 2026)
         The remaining places are distributed between all NCA’s and NCS’s registered with the DFICA for Entry Stage 1.  The number of places allocated to each nation is based on the average number of participants at their last two national championships completed before 1 January 2026, counting only nationals or permanent residents who took part in those events.

Allocation of Places: Stage 3
        Any of the 10 Wildcard places still available after Stage 2 shall be allocated by agreement between the DFICA and the Organising Authority.
·        All remaining places will be allocated by the Organising Authority on a “First Come First Served” basis.
