Are you based in the Midlands? Are you free on the 18th February? Do you have a DF95?

If you have answered yes to these questions then get yourself over to Blithfield SC, just outside Abbots Bromley, and take part in the first DF95 open event at the club.

Racing is from 1000 to 1500 with registration from 0830. You’ll need to bring your own lunch and also a bouyancy aid for launching off the pontoon. There are indoor and outdoor rigging areas available along with a boat laydown area outside the clubhouse.

It all sounds like the club have got everything ready for the first radio sailing event at the club and there are already a good few entries.

New year, new club, and welcome to Durleigh Dragons who are a new MYA club sailing DF95’s at Durleigh Sailing Club just outside Bridgewater in Somerset.

There are currently six members but I imagine this will ramp up as soon as other sailing club members see what’s on offer.
