We have a NoR for the DF95 Nationals which are taking place at Bartons Point under the guidance of East Kent RSC over the weekend of the 27th & 28th September 2025.

2nd September 2025 – Lunch Options
Further to my previous messages –
As far as I’m aware, the café at Barton’s Point will be open but with the number of
people attending the event + the general public we’re not sure whether they will be
able to provide lunches when needed. On club days we have often been kept waiting
longer than our lunch breaks.
In light of this, we have arranged for the Sea Cadets to provide packed lunches if
wanted.
They have offered to provide 3 options at £7.00 per packed lunch per day, payable
at registration.

Served in a box with serviette and wet wipe.
This will be delivered to the race area.
I don’t know the specifics like the flavours of drinks and crisps or the veg options, but
where’s the fun in knowing everything? 😊

minimum order of 20 to go ahead with this.
7th August 2025 – More updates from EKRSC
“From East Kent RSC:
We now have some updates for the upcoming DF95 National Championships at Barton’s Point in September.
We have permission to use the Sea Scouts compound for overnight stays for motorhomes. There will be no facilities on the site, and at present the compound will be locked overnight with a key holder on site. However, we are looking at ways round this. The site is just a few minutes walk from the lake. The cost will be £15.00 per motorhome for 15:00 Friday 26th September 2025 to 17:00 Sunday 28th September 2025, paid in cash at registration. This will then be donated to the Sea Scouts.
A ‘Social’ has been arranged for the Saturday evening, time tba, at The Abbey Hotel and Conference Centre, The Broadway, Minster On Sea, ME12 2DA. The hotel is 1 mile from the lake.
Dinner will need to be preordered, The menu will be sent out with entry acknowledgements. It will not need to be prepaid.

Our Chair has been receiving requests for recommendations for accommodation for the upcoming DF95 Nationals later this year. Jim has secured a bit of a deal on a hotel close by the venue on the island, details below.
