We’ve noted from our registrar that there is an issue with the registration email address. The IT guy we need to take a look at it is out of the country until early next week. As such there will be a short delay in getting through new boat registrations. We’ll update you once the issue is fixed but it will be after Easter.

So, another excellent weekend was had in Lincoln and two days of great racing were had and the Lincoln RSC. I wasn’t there but we were lucky enough to have a report for both days racing. Many thanks to Nigel Barrow who remembered what happened whilst competing himself!

Don’t forget that there is still time to get an entry in for the Lincoln TT. 23rd and 24th March at Scotland Farm and it promises to be a great weekend of racing and social.

The long range forecast even suggests that there isn’t any snow on the way either, something we’ve seen on several recent visits to the club.

Entries are coming in for the next rounds of the UK DF TT which is being held at Lincoln RSC in late March. The club has a great water and a great team running the club and there is plenty of capacity for big events. It is also an easy location to get to from all parts of the UK.

A much better day at the office for the 40 odd DF95 skippers that turned out at Blithfield today. The breeze was mid to top of A rig which provided some great racing.

Results below, well done to all those that took part and huge thanks to the Blithfield team and PRO Darin who enabled a lovely weekend.

So, having woken up this morning to dense fog, minus 2 degrees and lots of flooded roads it was a very warm welcome from the Blithfield crew. Wind was in short supply but the sun came out and the layers soon came off.

Unfortunately the wind never turned up despite being booked for the occasion and only two races were completed. Results below and congrats to Nigel. 95’s tomorrow with some wind forecast.

Entry for the 2024 DF65 Nationals at Gosport opened on Friday morning and there has been much interest in it. Entry is limited to 60 skippers and we are almost two thirds full with 37 entries already sorted and paid up. Looks like it could well be a sellout event so it might be sensible to get yourself over to the event page and stick your entry in before it’s too late.
