Day two went off much like day one but the wind was a little stronger first thing. A couple of people tried B rigs in the first couple of races but most stuck with A which was the rig of choice for most.
Four races completed before a wind direction and some rain made an appearance which put an end to the event with a total of nine races completed.
First set of congratulations go to Darin, the race team and the club members who did their upmost to mitigate the issues with weed and ran, as usual, an exemplary event from start to finish in circumstances that we don’t often encounter.
Next set of congratulations go to those skippers that kept at it over the two days.
And finally congratulations to Craig Richards who retains his National Championship title. Peter Baldwin was his usual unflustered self and sailed well to second spot. Bringing up the rear of the podium was David Hope who seemed suited to the conditions.
